Is this a choking hazard.....

I had a person with a question/concern about Stay Put Socks being a choking hazard. I wanted to share with you my answer to her.....

" The rules for baby products are very rigid. We had to have the product tested by many scientist to make sure this product is safe for babies. I want to assure you that choking is not a concern. It is nearly impossible actually. If you have seen the product you would understand but for those of you who haven't I will explain.
This silicon ring does not lose its shape unless it is squeezed between two fingers. In order for a baby to get this down his/her tiny throat he would have to pick the small ring up with his thumb and pointer finger at the same time. Then oh so carefully and without letting go, bring the pinched ring to his mouth without letting go (this is almost impossible for a baby because their motor skills don't allow them to do this). But, let's just say by some miracle they do get it to their mouth...At that point they would have to shove it in their mouth without letting go and down the opening of their throat all the while keeping that thumb and pointer finger squeezing the ring without letting go. Again, nearly impossible according to scientist. If at any point in time the baby let go or the ring slipped out, it would go to its original form again which is a circle. And if the ring was in their mouth the circumference would not allow it to go down the baby's tiny throat. I want you all to know that I have covered every angle of this being a safe product. I am a mom of three small children and I want them to be safe just as I want yours to be safe. Not to mention the legal issues there would be if this was a choking hazard. It would be dumb for me to even sell it if that were the case because I could lose everything my family has worked so hard for.
I appreciate your concerns, they are valid if you do not understand this product or have not seen it. But, I can assure you as can those who test baby products that this is safe for your baby. I am so happy to have found a solution to keeping babies socks on their feet. Wow, we have made HUGE progress! We did our first Expo January 21st. It went great. There I met the marketing rep for Babies R Us. I have sent them samples of Stay Put Socks! Hopefully, they will decide to carry them.
In addition, I met with the producer of ABC4 Good Things Utah today and he loved them. He wants to feature them on the show. After that, I stopped by Babinski's and talked to their buyer. I left samples with him. I have been working with the owner of Trendy Tots and she too is excited about Stay Put Socks and hopefully, they will be available to buy there within the next week or two.
They are currently being sold at Amara Day Spa and Boutique which has the cutest baby gifts!

More Progress..... Website .com and .net

We are still making major progress. It is taking longer than I expected but all in all, we are moving right along. We have two web address www.stayputsocks.com and www.stayputsocks.net. These two web sites are linked so anyone can go to either of them to place an order and all are directed to the same place. So, they are basically linked together and the same thing.
As far as the product goes, we are moving right along. We got the elasticily right which was quite the process. It was atually pretty time consuming to make sure it had just the right amount of "stretchyness" in it. So we got it perfectly right and put in a order for several thousand. Now, we are just waiting to approve the packaging and debossing on the product. We should get that by the middle of August and by September 1st "should" be ready to order. So, look for a post with a picture within the next two weeks and you will finally see what all the fuss is about.

My business is going great! I have gotten the samples and tried them on SEVERAL different babies ranging from ages 2 months to 16 months and THEY WORK! The socks stayed on all day with the Stay Put Socks!. So, I have put in a very large order to my manufacturer and they should be here shortly.

Also, I am in the process of creating a website where anyone can go online to order Stay Put Socks!. The website is stayputsocks.com and will be up and running in one week. It has taken a lot of time but I have made so much progress in the last month.

Also, I met the creator of Good Things Utah and he wants me to send him a sample and potentially have me on the show. I have gotten two boutiques (Trendy Tots and Amara) as of right now who will carry Stay Put Socks! and just met another business (Max and Cheese) owner today. So exciting! Why is it that babies socks don't stay on their feet? well, I can't answer that but I do have a solution. They are called "Stay Put Socks!" and they will keep your babies socks on their feet. And, the best thing about it is that you don't have to go out and buy any more socks. You get to keep those cute little ones that match his/her outfits. The device simply slips over your baby's sock and keeps them on all day. It is clear so it doesn't distract from the cute little socks.
